In addition to the standard personal characteristic items, the survey covers items to measure professional breastfeeding support in health facilities. A major objective of the project was to compare the professional breastfeeding support for healthy mothers before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data were collected online between 15 October 2019 and 25 October 2020 from the pooled panels of an internet research agency in Japan. A delivery before 5 March 2020 was considered as a before-pandemic delivery, and a delivery after 6 March 2020 was a during-pandemic delivery.
