Project Description

Summary:  View help for Summary

These are the extended dialogues developed for an article entitled The Language of Submission: A Four-Way Duoethnography Exploring Translanguaging Pedagogy With Carceral Students’ Funds of Knowledge and Funds of Identity,
from the Journal Innovation for Language Learning and Teaching.

We developed these dialogues by writing around and reconstructing our transcripts. We derived our findings from these dialogues. We make available these dialogues in their complete form to ensure our work is grounded in, and benefits from, a commitment to polyvocal representations of data and praxis. We have specifically crafted the following playscript with devices such as stage directions in italics, so that it could be read in a Reader’s Theater-style activity or be used as text in a number of different pedagogical contexts.
