Scope of Project
Methodology
- School district fiscal and nonfiscal data, and counts of public, charter, and magnet schools from 2000-2018, come from the U. S. Department of Education’s Common Core of Data (CCD).
- Private school counts come from the Private School Universe Survey (PSS).
- School district boundary shapefiles from the National Center for Education Statistics were used to assign schools to a school district.
