Community supported agriculture (CSA) models have
attracted the increasing attention of people around the world who seek food
security, agroecology and solidarity. This study aims to assess the performance
of community supported agriculture groups in Turkey through the social capital
accumulated within their communities. To this end, a mix of exploratory and
explanatory approaches was used. Findings of this study provide a comprehensive
look at structure and dynamics of CSAs in Turkey as well as the relationship
between their social capital and performance.
